Our Cookies are of ancient Greek origin called "Paximadi" (Pock-see-mah-dee) created by a scholar named Paximos. He wrote books on agriculture, and his favorite past-time was baking.
The people of his village called his sweet bread Paximadi, after Paximos.

In 1993, Paul (Pavlos) Zarkas, whose family's origin is from Chios and Crete, two islands in Greece, created his own version of these all natural Greek Cookies. Today, we just call them Pavlos Cookies, flavorful all-natural single baked delicious semi-sweet munchable, crunchable, dippable fun eating cookie available in a variety of wonderful flavors.
You'll find us at local farmer's markets in central Texas, festivals and community events.
